This seminar was conducted by Dr. Arda Arcasoy (Arcasoy Consulting). The relationship between Remote Sensing, GIS and Geology was discussed, with an emphasis on the mining industry. Dr. Arcasoy provided information on how geological research, both in academia and industry, can be done from space. The event took place in the Department of Geological Engineering Department on 6 January 2017 with the participation of 15 chapter members. This event was also co-organized with METU Geology Club.
