This seminar is arranged annually in order to prepare students, who haven’t taken the Mineral Deposits course and planning to conduct an internship in the mining and exploration industry. To introduce the students with the mining terminology and exploration methods, Assist. Prof. Dr. Ali İmer gave an introductory seminar on mineral deposits. Furthermore, internship opportunities in the mining industry were mentioned and companies that would be both effective and informative for the students were recommended. Also, he referred to the previous students’ experiences during their internships in order to give an idea about the companies that were mentioned.
