Concepts of greenfield and brownfield exploration projects were introduced by Şafak Utku Sönmez, Exploration Geologist, TUPRAG (Subsidiary of Eldorado Gold). Each step of greenfield exploration were explained with emphasizing the importance of integration of subdisciplines of geology. Information on sampling methods that are used in exploration projects were provided to the participants. Later, the risk factors of the drilling processes and the precautions that can be taken to decrease the risk percentages were mentioned.
